NUTRITION IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US!

Our nutritionally balanced menus ensure our children are raring to go every day!

We serve a delicious and nutritious menu. Our wholesome and nourishing menus are specially designed to give your little one the very best start in life. We ensure we include seasonal vegetables and fruit into our menus. We aim to make this possible by supplying our children with home cooked, nutritional food, bursting with fresh fruit and vegetables and all the essential ingredients necessary for healthy physical and mental development.

Menu’s are designed around the Public Health England Guidance for Early Years Settings in England. Our menu’s support healthier food provision in line with current government dietary requirements. This ensures that children are offered appropriate amounts of energy and nutrients and encourages the development of healthy eating.

We believe that meal-times should be a happy, relaxed time where children learn social skills, manners, good hygiene practice and healthy eating habits to last them a lifetime.

We have a flexible approach and are happy to cater for a whole range of dietary requirements including:-

We ask our parents and children to inform us of changes that could be made to the menus and take all suggestions and requirements on board.

Special dietary/medical/religious or cultural requirements are catered for, tasting sessions are encouraged and above all food is fun as we encourage all children to share in the joy of fresh, tasty food eaten with friends in a relaxed social setting!
